Absolvent je vysokokvalifikovaný odborník v študijnom odbore stavebníctvo s hlavnou orientáciou na teóriu navrhovania a analýzu inžinierskych konštrukcií, dopravných aj pozemných stavieb a ich súčastí. Dokáže tvorivo aplikovať princípy vedeckého bádania, navrhuje nové prístupy a zdokonaľuje existujúce metódy teórie inžinierskych stavieb. Ovláda progresívne nástroje teórie navrhovania a technológie zhotovovania inžinierskych stavieb, ako aj metodológiu ich diagnostiky a rehabilitácií. Teoretické poznatky získané štúdiom dokáže uplatniť v experimentálnej analýze správania sa inžinierskych stavieb a pri ich kombinácii s modelovým riešením a výsledkami numerických simulácií.

Postgraduates are highly-skilled specialists in the field of study of civil engineering mainly focused on the theory of designing and analysing engineering structures, transport constructions, buildings and their parts. They can creatively apply the principles of scientific research, design new approaches and optimise existing methods of the engineering structures theory. They master progressive instruments for the theory of design and technology of transport engineering structures construction, as well as the methodology for their diagnostics and restoration. They are able to apply acquired theoretical knowledge in the experimental analysis of transport engineering structures behaviour and to combine it with a model solution and numerical simulation results.

Absolvent je vysokokvalifikovaný odborník v odbore stavebníctvo s hlavnou orientáciou na teóriu technológie a manažérstvo stavieb. Ovláda vedecké metódy výskumu a dokáže tvorivo aplikovať existujúce metódy a teórie v danej oblasti. Teoretické poznatky získané štúdiom metodiky vedeckej práce dokáže uplatniť v príprave a uskutočnení vedeckého experimentu. Ovláda progresívne metódy matematicko-počítačových simulácií, na základe ktorých optimalizuje systém návrhu stavebných technológií. They are able to apply theoretical knowledge acquired during studies in the preparation and realisation of a scientific experiment. They can perform research activities with respect to ethical and social aspects of scientific activities and their contribution to practice. They master progressive methods of mathematical and computer simulations and, based on them, optimise the system of construction technologies design. Postgraduates are able to apply their knowledge of the diagnostics and probability theory in designing optimisation of maintenance, repair and reconstruction of constructions. They can optimise technological procedures in connection with constructions' lifecycle, their lifetime and environmental aspects. The can apply their knowledge to increase safety of transport constructions operation.
